in the annual CWA Newsletter Competition.
From the 2008 Judge's Report:
Titled “Children Who Toil,” the judges said artist Jesse Baggs “satirizes AT&T’s image in a well drawn four-panel cartoon highlighting employee dissatisfaction with working conditions."
We couldn't have said it better ourselves. You do fine work Jesse and our Local appreciates it (truth be told, the International Union appreciates it!).
This is a copy of the award presented to our Local President Dee Garcia at the 2008 CWA Convention. We are very proud of Jesse and the recognition our Local received because of his art. We also appreciate the employers our members work for - their follies provide a never ending supply of inspiration for the comics!
